A lifelong resident of Jackson, Mississippi, Mende and her three daughters proudly call the Capital City home. In 1996, Mende's family acquired the Inn, and since then, she has transformed it from an abandoned property into the exquisite boutique hotel it is today. Mende’s meticulous attention to detail is evident throughout the Inn, from the exceptional quality of the food to the chic, evolving décor. Each year, she reinvents the Inn’s look and feel, ensuring a fresh and captivating experience for every guest.
